It might be a old Magic2. To load dvd's and PSX games you had to power on the console by pressing and holding reset for 3 sec then release. To disable it i think you press and hold reset for 5 sec.

Here is the boot procedures if its a Magic 2....
Magic 2  NOTE: This is with the disk assumed in the tray and the tray closed: Playstation 2 games •Power up normally from STANDBY with RESET button. A single tap of the reset button is required. Playstation 1 games & DVD Movies •Power up from STANDBY with RESET button held until the blue EJECT light comes on. •Then release RESET and the disk will boot. NOTE: Turn off the PS2 (to standby) before changing Modes (PS1/PS2/DVD) NOTE: If I remember correctly you cannot turn of the Magic 2..... I think it was starting with the Magic 3 that the mod could be disabled.....

Oh awsome so its an Aust shop that's awsome I am in aust sorry i forgot the T sometimes I forget there is a country called Austria, but I guess that has a t aswell but who cares. Well awsome for the aust shop but which mod do you reccomend?
