Post building my system again

hi, i currently have a P4 2.0A 1G rambus, P4t-e asus motherboard, Nvidia Gefroce 5600 FX ,

Im looking to upgrade this with in the next 2 months. I love building and chosing all my parts to coustom build my PC.

On the video card , i want the Radeon All In Wonder x800 XT 256 PCI express

I know i want a Raid mother board so i may have more than 1 hard drives, but i havent decided or looked in into which one i would like yet.

Im still alittle confused on what CPU to get. P4 3.4 or Athlon-64 3500

The athlon has for 64-bit, but it shows it running as a 2.2 ghz, and the pentium as a 3.4 ghz and both run for about the same price $250

anyone know which cpu you would go for ?? Thanks

ok amd and intel measure speeds differently thats why if amd name their processor 3200 it means its the equivalent of a pentium 3.2
