Problem after putting system back together.

Ok, I had tried to install a mod chip on my version 2 system but thought better of it after trying two connections. So after putting the system back together when I press the eject button it just flashes. Any ideas on how to fix this so I can sell the system and buy a new one??

Check the eject/reset cable.

Well that seemed to do it. It was the strips that connect the CD to the main board. I was always afraid to touch them but they just snap into place. Thanks for the help.

Now i just have to sell it online and hope I get enough to buy a new one when the price drops. I'll sell all my games with it of course.

You only need to throw in 5 or 6 games to get around $200, so it shouldn't be a problem.

you may want to try selling locally to get top price. ebay would be another option, but can be disapointing sometimes. in the past i have had great luck with local shops that buy sell trade. maybe you can find one in your area. good luck
