Can I change XBOX DVD Rom??
Guys,
Can I change the DVD rom on XBOX??, let say I got DVD rom Sony, Can I use it??, or is there any special thing that is put into XBOX DVD rom?? Thanks

uhh
u can change it yea but the sony dvd-rom wont be able to read the original games only back ups the only advantage is that it can read all cd-rs, rws, dvd-rs, and soo on just not xbox originals thats about it

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. Thats only for backups though. However, rescently (like last week) people have been trying to flash PC dvd-roms with new firmware to replace xbox dvd-roms. The've had some success.
