nd3 is on a distinguished road
Well I installed it in my v14 (GH-037-02) and all I get is a black screen on boot up and no laser activity. I even tried to force the backup firmware chip by pressing reset 3 times and tried to shut off the chip by pressing reset 6+ times. I triple checked all solder points and resoldered them the last time. When I remove the 3.3v power from the cc chip the ps2 boots as expected.

Now I'm totally lost, maybe it does have to be flashed on an older system 1st. Maybe I have to wire that TO pad.. it shows it in the newer 1.1-2.0 pics. What is the TO pad and why can it sometimes be left out?

On spedmetals http://www.norcalmods.com/gallery/ site there's pics of cc1.0 on v14's.. More proof that it's possible, I just wonder what I'm missing here
