i am gettin very confused now
right ,,,,, yup you need to fart about and mess with the ps2 to get swapmagic sorted etc etc ,but what you describe has nothing to do with the laser being able to read a backup(copy) !!!! swap magic has 2 discs eg dvd and cd you load either depending on the media the game is on right???
so the origonal discs (swap magic) do whatever they do to be able to boot up copys ,,,ok so far ?? right so if you make a copy of the swap magic then you would need to boot it up via the origonal swap magic ?????? errrrm
i aint goin on any more coz its doin my head in now but just to say why do you need swap magic or mod chips ??? to play copies for obviouse reasons !! so please explaine how a copy of an origonal disc will load up in an unmodded machine ?
