If I buy a PS2 in Australia......??

Will I be able to take it to URUGUAY (South America) and play it ok?? No color problems?? (I am pretty sure they use PAL as well)

Games will load properly if bought in UrUGUAY???

DVD Regions are the same in all south america and in Australia (Region 4)

Thanks in advance.

From your signature it looks like you have a messiah in your PS2. so yes it should, but if the region is the same and the video out (PAL) is the same, there should be no problem.

There could be.
It depends on what your power is.
Australian PS2's would be 240 volt AC.

Hi, thanks for all the answers!.

I am planning to buy a NEW one, not for me. Its for a present for someone in Uruguay.

They use PAL, and there is 240 volts as well.

So, if Uruguay is Region 4 and PAL, would the PS2 play ORIGINAL games bought in Uruguay???

Thanks
