Any PS2 savvy ppl in Adelaide, Australia?

After having a Neo 2 installed in my PS2, the drive would no longer go in. After #####ing all the causes of this, going over pins 5 & 6 ad infinitum and having an engineer go over it, i'm still non the wiser for the problem or the fix. Is there anyone in Adelaide, Australia that knows there way around a PS2 and could fix my PS2?
