k.. tried with and without hack3 and still get wavy black/white lines... they said in their info it was the first game that actually had real protection.. maybee theres no way for the public to do it.. *shrugs*

ok, here is what you can do... make a 0 byte file for each *.str file you delete (just create a new file with that name). get it down under the size you need. then run

dahack BIN-FILE 2ND-LBA on all the bin files with the string "CD001" in them...

Xena said to try and use the 45000 trick and it should work w/ out any bin hacking. still don't know if those .str files are actually music or data though. there were like 2 movies and they are in sfd format and all of the levels and cars are in .lzh model format, so i think thats all there is left to be. Guess i will try that 0 byte thing. When burning soul calibur on a 650 meg cd (needs a 700) it got to the file it couldn't read and it made a loud screeching noise... im hoping that no data will stop this problem but i don't know.. you know how to do the 45000 trick? im guessing it starts burning files at the right sector (45000... duh) so the dc will recognize it as a gd-rom... still not sure on what to do though.
