Some newer games require patches to run, and yes your old modchip may be getting detected in game or start of game hence why it fails to load.
At the moment it seems to be the Swap Magic Discs and a combo of the slider for bulky PS2/ magic keys for slimline/ or a flip top for either slim/bulky. And there is a memor32 which apparently is a modchip on a memory card. Quite a good idea, how it works to bypass protections is beyond me but it cant be good for hardware :P |

Well the original loads fine.No hitches.So it might be like DABhand said and my old modchip is getting detected.I guess i need to get another modchip too.Thanks for the help guys.
