Star Wars Racer protected ? Also, arguments used with hack3, hack etc - Xena ?
Firts of all, I have ripped Star Wars Racer (PAL) , and want to know whether I need to use Hack3 or anything before following the selfboot system in order to make the backup work.
Secondly, can someone tell me what operators / arguments should be used with the various patching tools such as hack3, hack, dahack. I have looked at a previous post which is one a related topic but does not give the a general answer to the above. I believe that some of the above you use with the satrt sector number of the secon .iso track, so would be, for example, hack3 1st_read.bin 372637 where 372637 is the start sector of the second .iso track, or hack3 1st_read.bin 0 is there is no second .iso track. Is that correct and is it the same for all the tools. Finally, is it correct that you can use any of them on any .bin file, and they will only do their thing if it is needed, so if you are not sure, apply all tools to all bins and you are covered. I have looked on Xena's site but can't see a tutorial which covers this - may someone could write one ? |

I will send the full track info tonight as I have it at home. However, there are two .iso tracks and just a single .raw track, which I am planing to leave out for the usual reason when ther is only a lone smallish audio track. Think it is katana type (no 0winceos.bin file). Has ip/bin, 1st_read.bin plus afew other bins.
Thanks
