Cannot connect to my broadband due to LAN circuit problem or something
Ever since the typhoon, my modem snapped and was shut off due to the power (i guess) while I was using the net. So I contacted the service provider and they changed my modem for a new one. It was working, meaning the power light and cable is active. But it cannot connect the modem to my pc. Some experts did check the settings and mentioned something about my LAN having a problem. I don't know. They were saying it is related to my hardware and in need to replace the I-don't-know thing.
What do they mean and what should I do? |

Do you have a router?
But you can do this also, goto the device manager and uninstall the LAN driver and then restart the PC and let it reinstall again. Or get an updated driver. |
