how do i get a boot disk copy to work on my dc after ive downloaded it onto my pc

ive just got a dc and im tryin to get a boot disk and everytime i try and make a boot disk and copy it onto cd for use in my dc it doesnt work. evry time i try to make one and try it in my dc it just comes up like ive put an audio cd in my dc . and please help me im going mad . any good boot disk downloads would be apreciated if u could tell me where to get them
