Building my own link cable: Trouble!!!

I tried to build my own link cable and I have not been able to get it to work. I have followed the directions exactly as marcus described them, yet it still doesn't work. I wish that I could have returned everything after seeing that lik-sang is offering the pre-built, but I had purchased all of the stuff before finding this out. Anyways, if anyone could provide many pictures of what there serial cable looks like. (preferable of the hookups to the max chip and the hookup inside the neo geo pocket adapter). Also, if you could tell me an alternate way to build this using all of the parts I already have, that would be most appreciated. Sorry I have to bother you guys with this type of post, but you are my last resort. [email protected]
