Does burn games or the utopia disk messup a dreamcast.

Does burn games or the utopia disk messup a dreamcast. I have mortal kombat gold and in the middle of gameplay the dreamcast makes loud and unsual noise. Is that normal.

Also my utopia has these small black dots on it they werent there wend i barely got it, they just appeared like a day ago i dont know how. And there not dirt stains there are comin from both sides and inside of the disk, but strangely the disk still works fine.
