Daemon Tools Problems

Im not sure if this should go in this forum but here it goes

I saw on gamecopyworld and the forums that the lastest cracks take a while to come out recently so i decided to get Daemon tools. Unfortunately when i installed it there was an error and the installer crashed

I decided to unistall the program and reinstall it but there was no uninstaller. I ended up deleting the files it put there and getting rid of any files it might have created in the registy (there was none) and i hoped it would be gone but it installed the generic virtual drive before the error came up and now when i try to get rid of it (uninstall the drivers) but it just comes back when the computer restarts.

Any Help Would be appriciated

You could try this, I'm not sure if it will work though.

Go to device manager, then system devices
Look for something called "PnP BIOS Extension"
I know that Daemon Tools installs that for the Virtual Drives so you could try uninstalling it or disabling it. If it is there.

Or it may be that you already have a virtual drive installed, they sometimes clash.

Yeah, its caused from a previous virt drive, cause I had daemon tools, uninstalled it, and recently reinstalled and noticed that my virt drive for it is F and it was still there even though i had deleted it.

Run the install until the error comes up. let the program close, and restart your computer, your virt drive will be gone and set up should begin with out any probs

And if the icon does not show up by your clock alt+ctrl+del and bring up your task manager, and remove daemon.exe, then click on the daemon tools icon on your desktop and it should load on your bar next to the clock.

Thanks for the replies everybody, i should have looked on the daemon tools website before asking for help really.
I used the device manager to uninstall the driver and the drive stopped appearing, i will not install daemon tools anymore i think ill just wait for the latest no cds
