Problem with upgrade Silent Hunter 3

I have problem with instal patch 1.2 UK or US (DVD and Download). Wenn I instal patch UK jump to screen error "MissionEngine.dll unknown version" or instal patch US i have error "de_menu.txt unknown version"? What is going on?

Have you installed any Mods or the 1.0 no-cd crack? If so you need the that orginal 1.0 file for the patch to work. The patch will not reconize any modified files. BTW Patch 1.3 just came out today. And you must use the right patch for the version of the game you have(U.S or Euro)(Downloaded game or DVD)

Forget it. You should have them, if you own the oriinal game....be careful and read the rules !

Sloma19 you must have a European version of Silent Hunter III. In the Game Updates section on Silent Hunter III's main website they have patches for the US version and also an "EMEA" version.

Ever heard of Ebay? Most stuff gets released in the US way later than in other countries. Makes me sick how some movies and games are made over here but then we get treated like redheaded step children upon release. You can get some stuff earlier if you don't mind paying a little extra by purchasing it from overseas. Damn expensive euro.
