Doom 3 (KillaWare version) DVD impossible to update and/or install Resurrection of Ev

I've got a problem.

I've installed Doom 3 (KillaWare version) that is a DVD. Here is the IFO file for more informations:

Soft won't do this themselves.

Install Notes

1. Extract .ISO file from the rars.
2. Burn With Nero Burning Rom
3. Use supplied Key Generator (in KeyGen) for installation serial.
(Note, Game is already no-cd patches, so there is no need for one)

Now I want to install Resurrection of Evil but game is unable to detect Doom 3 original. In fact the DVD version install the game automatically in "C:\Program Files\ID Software\Doom 3 DVD" and crack automatically the doom3.exe so it become impossible to update the game or install Resurrection of Evil.

Is there anyone who knows how to deal with that and make possible to install the expansion (and possibly updates too)?
