Need help with Clone DVD2 and Any DVD not recognizing RW drive...

Hi. I am really new to this forum, but I am in need of help MAJOR HELP. I have CLONE DVD that I use to burn DVDs. I have software that can brake through the copyright laws. One day the DVD-RW just stopped working with the clone dvd. I was burning something and it would not recognize the drive. I tried numerous empty DVDs as well as different brands. I also tried downloading the most recent versions as well as making sure nothing is running in the background. I think it may have something to do with my boyfriend's War of Warcraft game because it was when he started playing the game that things went crazy. The system is recognizing the drive, but when I try to burn it will not read the empty DVD. Any ideas? My operating system is Windows XP Professional. Thanks in advance.
