any external modchips with ability to play dvd backups

I was wondering if there is an external modchip capable of reading dvdr backups; dvd silvers; cdr backups and cd silvers. Don't want to chance any soldering mistakes. Don't really care about swapping. If so, let me know where I can get one.

He means, get a NEO2.2 internal modchip and have it professionally installed in your PS2.
