ps2 backup problems with settings.
hi
Recently bought a duo2 SE chip but have problems with playing backup PS2 games. Playing backup DVD and psx works fine but not pS2. I have burnt a backup of GTA Vice city using record now max from the ultimate info tutorial, but this has not worked and the ps2 asks for an original disk. The only thing i couldnt do was on record now max it says to disable "auto insert notification" but coundnt find it. Is this why its going wrong? dont know what im doing wrong, can anyone help me? do i need a patch for vice city? Thank You

No, you don't need to patch Vice City. Do any PS2 backups work on your PS2?

no....but all my old psx games work, so i thought the chip was working properly and that i was doing something wrong.

sorry new to this...do you mean recheck all the wires or how i put the backup in the ps2?

I believe the only pins needed for PSX and dvd backups are pins SCEX, GND and reset. (Someone correct me if i am wrong). I have seen problems like this before in which Movie's and PSX backups work but nothing else. usually its a bad solder point.

AAHHHH. found that one of the wires was wrong, changed it. Now i can't get a signal to the tv. Is this something else that i have done wrong?
