Star Wars Battlefront Desktop CRASH

Have got the german version of Star Wars Battlefront and tried to play with the crack ... downlaoded the language crash fix but its still the same start the game and bang back to the desktop so please help me ... I think lots of germans have this problem .

I have the same problem.At 1024x768 the screen turns black for 2 seconds.In 800x600 it freezes for 2 seconds. I tried all gcw files.But it doesnt work.Help!!!

well in these situations only the ones that had the problem and fixed it can answer this question so lets wait for someone who fixed it

I hope that some working release is availible soon.I loved Star Wars KOTOR and played it to the Endgame(then Ihad enough).I want to Know who test those Files before they are in GCW.Is this magic or why works Reloaded with it.And why are there different releases after some days that seem identic and and don t work.Sorry !but Ifeel bad If fat games like these are not playable.Also Vermeer or DTM Racer for example.And I cant understand(or I am happy) that NOT ALL GAMES have these protections.The fact that its not c++++able could not be mystic(geheim) enough that game producers dont know.If I am wrong,tell me plz.

i downloaded the v1.00a patch of battlefront and the reloaded 1.00a crack and the game asks for the CD
then I downloaded the crack from beth and i crashed to desktop too
could it be due to the language of the cracks ?
or could i somehow change my language to english?

the english version of battlefront crashes to desktop when the language settings in windows are other than "english (us)".
i read that somewhere in the official faq. simply change your windows to "english (us)"......worked for me! no desktop-crashes at startup.

alternative: on gcw is a "foreign languages"-crack. apply and you can leave your windows-settings to your countrys setup, without gettiing the startup-crashes.

i got german version with english crack, cause there is no other for 1.00a

Edit all in all:
I installed the German version, downloaded the German patch 1.00a, downloaded an English nocd an then it crashes.

Battlefront is running now.I tried it with the Foreign Language Crash Fix after a new Installation from the 3cds by Realoaded.(thx again to him)
It s not what i looked for but it runs fine.Without changing any files exept the exe of the crash fix.Good that I tried it again.
What about playing on the net.It it possible(gamespy)
