It was already announced earlier on this news that Halo 2 will be released on November 9th. New screenshots were also released and now we've got some preview videos!

We also received information from Jason who was contact by gamestop about a Limited Collector's Edition of Halo 2 that will be released the same day (November 9th) for 5usd extra. It will be packed in a metal case and contain 2 DVD's (1 DVD with the game and a 2nd with all kinda extra features). it looks awsome, but.... The destructable vehicals are a cool feature, but I kinda hope there is an option to turn that off in multiplayer, much like there was an infinate granade option in Halo 1.

I dunno, I just liked the constant hijacking and vehical that can tricks done in halo 1 with granades, rockes...etc. At least they respawn though.

The Warthog and Ghosts only LOOK like they are destroyed, when you destroy them (like in single-player Halo 1) the dashboards get all messed up and the wheels come and such. The look effect is in multi but, the Warthog and Ghost can't be destroyed, they can be damaged visually but, not to the point that they stop working. Pick-up the current issue of Official Xbox Mag for more info (and SCREENSHOTS!!!)

edit --@ AX, the customized suits is not confirmed at the moment but, it has been hinted about from Bungie.

did you two see the video? There was an pre-E3 video in which bungie members played a demo of halo multiplayer. It wasn't just a office movie like single player. It was at a rally. They were showing that you can hijack vehicals and destruct them. But eventually they, blow them up (in which they resawned afterwards, like unreal), and the rocket launcher can home. They also showed decals that they said were customizable, showing the suits with them on as well...If you want the gamespy video, I have the hi-rez version. It's like 250mb for about 10mins of play. It is where they announced the november 9th release.

Give me a pm if you only saw the first few minutes where it ended before any actual gameplay. I can send it through windows messanger (30kb/s though).
