Unhappy PS2 backup problems

I have an I/o Magic dual DVD burner, PS2 scph-3001-R, and I used Roxie 6 to burn the back up of my game. I also have record now dx but for some reason it wouldn't work. I used memorex DVD-R disks and I first saved the game to my hard drive(no problems). Then I burned the copy with Roxie 6(no problem). Then when I tried it in my PS2, I couln't get it to work. I'm not sure what chip I have. When I go to play a game, I insert the disk, hold the reset(it turns red) power off, then turn the system back on and tap the reset and it turns green and I can play my games.I guess I can get in touch with the guy that installed the chip to find out which one it is. Can someone PLEASE HELP? Thanks.
BK

You should check with your installer and first find out what chip you have, then let us know. You could try using ritek media, as it is the best on the market right now.
I use Ritek Ridata G04 DVD-R with no probs.

Talking

Hey -
Thanks for the help! I switched back to record now dx and everything worked fine! One question though- when I go to burn my backup from my hard drive, there are (3) lines to select from, one is the disk, one is the file and I can't figure out what the other one is. Do I have to select from these or do I just click on burn?
