Will european AR MAX codes work on patched Games (NTSC2PAL)?

I have an Action Replay Max (European version) and the unit does noet accept US (NTSC) codes.

I am wondering; what if i convert the US (NTSC) game into an European (PAL) game and I enter the European codes. Will this work?

(I know i can figure this out myself by coverting the game, burn it again on DVD+R and try it, but I hope somebody here already "invented the wheel".

TIA

Do you mean when you enter the codes manually, it doesn't accept?
Because I have US (NTSC) AR Max and Pal silent hill 3, so I entered the Pal codes manually and it works perfect.

I have tried this as well, but after i enter the master code (for the US version of SSX 3), it accepts the code and returns to the main menu. I checked the game list and the game is not listed in the games list. When i try to enter the code again, it gives an error message saying the code is allready entered.

On the codejunkies forum I read that it's not possible to enter US codes in the European AR Max.

It will more than likely not work. Here is why:

PAL games usually have lots of extra text for countries that dont just speak english. NTSC games are usually only english or Jap. So the games ARE different in most cases. Therefor the codes wont work in every ps2 game.

You would have to use NTSC codes for NTSC games for best results.

Patching the games does not make the game a real PAL game it just fixes the speed so your particular tv will show it correctly. The game is still what was made for NTSC.
