how exactly? (a stupid noob question)

I have a really stupid noob question. I ripped my dvd with dvdshrink 3 beta 5 and it gave me the whole dvd....but now exactly how do I burn the files onto the dvd-r so that they play in dvd players? don't most dvd players look for a Audio_TS folder and VIDEO_TS folder? if they do then how do I divide the files up into their approate places so that a dvd player will read them? Thanks for all the help and sorry about the stupid question. Also I have record now DX and a sony 500A burner if that matters. (I figure the program I'm using is)

I don't personally use DVD Shrink, but if by saying "I ripped my dvd with dvdshrink 3 beta 5 and it gave me the whole dvd" you mean the movie has been transcoded to fit onto 4.37Gb and you have all the files sitting on a directory ready for a burn, do the following.

Rename the directory with the files to VIDEO_TS in caps. Create a blank directory called AUDIO_TS in caps.

Note: You don't really need the AUDIO_TS folder, but I have found in my experience, some of my DVD player will not read the disc unless that directory is there. It is empty anyway so you dont lose anyting by creating it.

Open up RecordNow (I use DX v4.50), click on Data Disc, then click on add file and folders. Add the two directoris, AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. Then select your speeds and burn.

Should work a treat.

Let me know if I can help further...

Thanks! I figured that's what I had to do but I wanted to make sure before I wasted blanks. Thanks for the help.
