i was wondering when ever Vice City Crashes the sound in windows starts echoing? example when i empty my trash can it echo's the sound of the trash being thrown away and if i get an error messege the "ding" sound it makes echo's is there a way to stop this echoing? the only way i have found out is by restarting my pc i make alot of car mods for vice city so it tends to crash alot
any help would be nice

You could try disabling any 3d sound setting in Vice City. It looks like Vice City uses echo and when it crashes it doesn't get reset to the original sound. I had the same thing with my SB Live, and was able to fix it after a crash by running the Creative Soundmixer and selecting "none" under the option where you can choose sound settings for "rock concert", "garage", "cathedral" etc. I can't look it up right now but that fixed it for me without rebooting.

or you can test run the game again, after it crash...and then exit the game, in the normal way.... maybe that will reset the thing...
