argh, KoF 2002 prob, stumped o_O

Here's hoping you guys can lend a hand,

I've burned this game two different ways (diskjuggler v4 and nero), without any luck.
Without the Utopia (v1.1) boot disk, it just sits at the console screen (play,music,vmu,options) with the disk, well nothing happens. it just stays at the "Utopia boot disk v1.1 Please insert disk" screen.

The KoF2002 i have is the Orgasm release. Is there any patching that needs to be done to it? If so, is there a specific way to go about it?
People here who've been able to successfully get this running, what did you do?

Sorry if this is a pain for you folks, but your help would be much obliged because I don't know what else to do here.
