PS2 DVD Data Recovery???
PLEASE HELP! My Midnight Club 2 DVD is NOT backing up. I just bought it about three weeks ago and lent it out to a friend. When I got it back, it was scratched to the high heavens and doesn't play. So I tried to back it up but it won't - I get read errors and 'Check Disc Condition' errors! The thing which really p***** me off is the fact that I was going to backup MC2 when I got it back from my friend
 I have installed BadCopy PRO but I have absolutely NO idea how to use it  . Also, I do not know of anywhere where I can get hold of another copy. So how can I recover this disc? Can I use badCopy or is there a special utility??? If I can use BadCopy, can someone tell me how to recover my data with it??? Thanks a lot,LUFCfan

sorry if this sounds stupid. Is it possible to copy the files, that are in the non scratched section of dvd then ask someone to send you the files that you can not copy from dvd ? when all files complete, you can make an image of them and burn them.

see if blockbuster has it or some other rental store or tell your friend you want $55 to get a new one

just a point worth remembering pioneer 105 has superb ability to read scratched dvdr
check out the report at cdrinfo.com ive got couple old dvd rebacked them up scratched rolled slid along floor fails to backup in any drive i tried it in except pioneer 105 perfect backup  i wonder if 106 is as good?? 104 fails
