AOE2:TC No-Cd and "The Zone"

I am currently using Age Of Empires 2: The Conquerors though a No-Cd Patch. I was wondering if you can use the zone with this No-Cd patch. I get a message like "Install the game or Insert The Cd." Has anyone else had this problem? Please tell me a way to get around this.

i also have the same problem i can't go on the zone cauz it tells me the same thing

This is what you need is go in the game dir. there is a file called setreg ... Run that and that should fix it !!!
