Appeared to be fatal...Turned out simple!
Hi guys,
Just thought this would make interesting reading for anyone who's got the time. Basically my xbox1.0 has been modded with the matrix for over half a year now....and is great. It is never moved from it's position (In a cabinet underneath the tv) so i was a bit confused about what happened last night! I went to play a dvd, pressed eject and the drive refused to open. Blank tv screen, no evo x loading, nothing happening just green light like normal, then flashing when I pressed eject. First thing i thought is that the matrix had become disaligned....checked through the side of the case and appeared fine....so pulled the machine apart and to my suprise...without even moving the dvdrom drive i could see what the problem was. My power lead for the dvdrom (The yellow wire) has pulled itself away from the motherboard!!!!!! How wierd!!!!, Plugged it back in and everythings perfect again! Although the machine has never been moved and i'm the only one that uses it! Oh well, maybe bored some of you but wierd nevertheless! Jay

Sweet!!
Gotta love those oh so easy fixes, I always try and fix things myself but am not always so lucky. Very strange indeed how the wire just fell off it must have been lose in the first place and after how many ejects it finally came off ( I am guessing)
