how does the dvdrs copys work ? same?
also can i buy one of those datel region x dvd multi code things and will it work on my jap ps2?
and, would the datels region x disc work on my jap console just like the utilty disc does so i can use that to boot ps2 copys up too?

lastly, zzzzzzz sorry guys i know its getting long winded etc but...... could i use any other original jap ps2 game to make dvdrs work on my jap ps2 or is it only dead or alive 2 that will work?

Not sure if this will help but it does not have to be DOA2 just a game with a larger TOC than the DVDr u want to boot, it must also be an origonal from the same region as the machine u are using, the reason that everyone says DOA2 is because it's like 4.35GB and is one of the biggest DVD games out, I hear the demo of Devil May Cry that came With Code Veronica X (In the UK and US I think) is 4.37GB so that may be another soluton. Just checked the full Jap Devil may Cry is 4.37GB so u should be able to get that from any Import comapny and it will do as a boot disc. As for the method not sure I know how do do it on a PAL PS2 but that does not help u :-(

OK hope the info helped. Good luck.

Hi,

The reason the most peeps use DOA2 to boot there DVDRs is because it have the biggest TOC if you cant get hold of it then usually a DEMO DVD ROM or another game like GT3 will do. As long as your original game has a bigger TOC then your backup your be fine.

Cheers
