clonecd crashing HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there hope someone can help as I have trying to sort this out for ages. I had been happily using clonecd for ages, then suddenly it began crashing during reads, most often before ten percent. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Clone cd is crashing when it tries to read to an image file, it sometimes works, but rarely, and especially not if there is sub channel data to be read. Ultimately, this started after i installed blind write shareware to use the BWA builder, blind write uses the patin couffin layer instead of the aspi layer system, and as this is the only thing i installed and the problem occured soon aftrwards this must have caused the crashing.
i have now uninstalled all that and cleaned vso (who make blind write) from my registry, i have re-installed clone cd, updated my aspi drivers from adaptec, although in my control pannel there is now a patin - couffin config shortcut which leads to a small program in the windows system folder, which ultimately tests the vso hardware access driver, and now when i open it, it says the patin couffin drivers are not up to date, understanably as i think that the uninstall removed them, and it seems to say that the aspi layer is being used by windows as a default option as a result. All the above, the re-installing of clone cd, the aspi updates seem to help a little, as clone cd doesn't crash before getting to 1%, and sometimes, under some profiles, ie/. the simplest ones, it might make an image, however most of the time it crashes around 10%.

Cheers

The patin couffin layer must be de-installed that's what all the problem is for sure (you already said). I have'd find a tool to deinstall patin couffin layer.
The only thing I can suggest is to re-install your PC.

Good luck.
