MechWarrior Vengeance NoCD Crack doesn't work with Windows XP!Solution?

It is impossible to use the NoCD crack for MechWarrior 4 on Windows XP. Is there anyone that is able to give me a solution?

hey what version(1,1.5,2.0) of MW u using?and also what version is ur XP(home or Pro)?
i got pro and it works fine on it.also did u tried reinstalling game

I got the same problem unSafeDisk v1.5.5 dont work...
I got the 2 CDs of Mechwarrior 4 Vengeance mounted with daemon tools v3.3
Windows XP Home Sp2.
I downloaded a patched exe but it gives following error:

xp home and xp pro should not matter...
crashed in some sound stuff - EAX_ReverbProperties
try disabling eax in the game. looks like the api got passed a NULL when
it was called...

See the game's config utility/screen/whatever for EAX options. (Read the game manual and or contact the publisher on where exactly to find it.) Also, launch DXDIAG and try reducing the DirectSound acceleration level to none or basic.

same area... though you managed to get about hmm 1000 hex or so further in the game code (eip vs previous one)... so its definately config related

have you tried to force the game to run in compatability mode?
also posting your pc specs would help...
