Expansion memory cards....
I see alot of those expansion memory cards. The ones that piggy back a regular PS2 memory card. Can those expansion memory cards be used by themselves or have to used with a memory card to work? thanks

They DO need a Memory Card to function. If you look on the packaging they mention this.
The machines place the data on the card as you would a normal save then it transfers the data onto the flash memory in the expander. So the answer is YES, you do need an offical memory card to operate this peripheral.

anyone have one of these expanders? now i cant get any info off of the expander part. it all of sudden quit working/
