Capcom vs SNK stops loading on 98% with bootdisc!

Ok here is the problem:

I put the utopia 1.1 bootdisc in my DC
he askes for a cd (duh)
normaly if i put a backup in it, everythin works fine!
BUT if i put Capcom vs SNK (1 or 2) in it.
It begins with loading,
i see the disc spinning (with the cdcover on it)

on 98% i get a black screen, en suddenly i come in de normal screen (with play, file, music etc.)

WHAT TO DO???

(sorry for my bad english, i am from holland)
(if you don't understand something, ask me PLEASE!)

I would bet you've got a PAL DC, don't you ?

Try a patch here : http://www.megagames.com/dc/dc_patches_c.shtml

U mean the original or the cdr of CvsSNK? Most originals do NOT work with utopia on a pal DC... unlike in the us where everything is supposed to work. In this case: get DC-X it works

About the CDR i thought that games like CvsSNK where already released in the selfboot era...

Have you already manage to patch an original GDrom ???
Of course I mean a copy ! But most of the time, patches requier the image they were made for (so the "original" release).

i've did the following:

i've put all files on my hd and then i used the echelon tutorial

to make a selfbootable iso.

i burned it and now it works fine.
