PS2 "disk read error" problem

I want to sell my PS2 that has the most common problem
which is the "disk read error"
It just simply stopped reading dvds one day while I was playing FFX =(

Now the PS2 can only read CDs (audio music cds)
It might work with some PS1 CD games too, but I am not sure

All it needs is a new lens replacement, but I have decided to give up to look for it
