problems after installing messiah
I can't seem to get anything to work now that I've installed messiah on my V5. when I put any CD in the ps2 I get no response... I don't think it spins either and the screen says no data when I go into browser.
Is it a problem with the Messiah or isn't the cd-rom correctly set up? what is wrong??? plz help...

first of all, check that you plugged all ribbon cables back in properly.
second, check the connections on the back of the board, you might have mixed something up. does it recognize the memory card? if not, the dvd controller chip was blown.. and then you got a serious problem. try uninstalling the chip again and see if it works then.

Ok!
It worked It the connection of the cd-rom But then comes another problem: I can't play PSX-backups. I have tried PS2 CDR they worked along with Orginals. But I haven't tried imports and DVD-rs simply beacause I don't have one... Any suggestions? whats wrong? thanku
