Psx?
I am new at this coping psx1 games using my pc. Can someone please tell me how to do it so I too can make working backups.
I am truly sorry for asking a stupid question like this but I just don't understand it. I have no clue what a boot cd, mod chip, etc. Can this all be downloaded and do I need to have it to burn these cd's. Thanks for all of the help.

there are 2 software for making backups cdrwin & cd clone these 2 are the best softwares but with cd clone IT AS TO BE 100% compatible with your writer & with cdrwin you need a prog called pff-o-matic this is for patching games which are protected here some links which will help you
to check if your writer compatible with cd clone go here [URL=http://www.elby.org/CloneCD/english/cdr_a.htm to help you with the softwares go here [URL=http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Tutorials.htm as for the mod chip & boot disc you need one of these to play a copy game ( best way is with a fitted mod chip in the psx) the boot disc (which CAN NOT be a copy) is what you put in so your psx thinks it as a mod chip (so you start your psx up with the boot disc in and swap it a copy game ) i've never done it this way
