Pool of Radiance Install Directory Problem.. HELP!!

I just got a copy of Pool of Radiance and everytime I try to install it to another directory it tells me the directory doesn't have enough free space. Which I know isn't true because there is 25 gig free. I know it has something to do with the SafeDisc protection.. anyway around that? Thanks

It has nothing to do with the protection. I has to do with sloppy programming.

download the 1.1 install patch from ubisoft.

use this "patch" to install the game.

first it will ask you for the destination directory.
so go ahead and put in what ever you want.

then click next until you get to the type of install you want.
note: there will be another option to change the install directory and it will be different than the on you just put in DONT change this, just click next.

another note: due to brain dead programmers at ubisoft in order to do a full install, you must have 1.2 gigs free on your C: drive (or which ever drive you installed your OS). The game checks for free space there instead of the actually destination drive. (way stupid programming)

You MUST use this 1.1 install patch to uninstall as well your you run the risk of fudging up your OS. which will leave you screaming so foul language and re-installing you OS.

Hope this helps and I hope I didnt forget anything.
