PLZ HELP! my cdclone-copies only work on my computer. is this NORMAL?

dear friends,
i manage to do 1on1-copies of nearly every game, using CLONECD and my RICOH 7080A, firmware 1.10. so i was quite happy, until i tried to install those copies on a friends computer (just to check out, if they work), and none of them did work. i tried them even on some other friends computerss, and always failed.
i always use the correct read and write options, and as said, for me they work fine, even if i run them from my normal cd-drive.

is this NORMAL?

thx for answering,
buk

Hello, there is a list of compatable hardware on the cloneCD site. It's out of date, but the important thing to remember about cloneCD is that the copies will only work on CD-Roms that are capable of reading Sub-Channel Track Data. If your CD-Rom can read Sub-Channel Track Data and your friends CD-Rom can't, then you have the problem you described. This is what I imagine is happening with you.
