Parental Control?
Hello All,
I've got this Japanese PS2 35000 model...and trying to watch the uncut version of American Pie 2 has been unsuccesful due to some sort of parental control thing. I can't find anywhere to check for the parental control setting on the machine and I don't have the instruction booklet that the system came with...does anyone have any suggestions or knowledge to drop? I've still not been able to find someone to install my OrigaChip and am getting close to giving it a go myself. A few phone calls and a lot of luck and I hope it'll be alright. OralB

Yes there is a parental control at the Pal PS2, you can activate/deactivate it in the DVD Menu. Put a DVD into and start, if the Movie begin push select to get in the DVD Menu, there appears some Symbols with options, but I donīt remember wich symbol it is (hope you can japanese).
