Hey i was planning to install one of these in a V5 board, let me know how you get on.

Onlything i can say double check all cables, and power conectors, if it still does not go it could be a fuse. Test them with a mutlimeter.

Sounds duff though

also check if you possibly damaged a cable when you put it together. check especially near the edges and shielding.

Does it work if you temporarily disconnect the pass-thru cable on the neo and connect the power/eject cable directly to the board again?

I have the same problem ....the eject button won't work....but mine is a version 4 and i followed all the instructions on soldering....the eject button just doesn't light up

I tried switching the silver cable with another one ...but it still doesn't work....any there anyway to make the tray eject maunually?

I hope I didn't break my PS2....cause there is nothing on the screen when power it up....just flickers once when i power it up..

Please help if you can
Thanks
