IS IT POSSIBLE TO WATCH THE .STR (FMV) FILES OFF FINAL FANTASY 8?

What i would just like to know is; has anyone out there managed to watch the video files of final fantasy 8?
With other games i don't have any problems cos the .str files are normally already there ready to be played by a psx movie media player but with final fantasy 8 there are only 2 files on the disk (the rest must compressed within the two). Is there a particular tool out there that i can use to extract the files?

yep, i got a program called PSmplay and it scans the image of a game and finds all the str files.
