Question about Anti-Mod protections

As listed at http://geocities.com/psxcplist/ ,NCAA Gamebreaker 2k1 is said to be Anti-mod Protected. What I am asking is, does this mean that the Original Game disk will not play with all mods or certain mods attatched to the console. Or, Only Back-up Copies will not work with some or all Mods?? If only back-ups, Then I should be able to burn a working back-up copy using "Clone CD", Right or wrong?? Thanks

BOT is on a distinguished road
Anti mod means it will detect a mod chip and stop working.
Clone copies this perfectly so that the copied one stops as well.
