can't backup legend of Dragoon with patch

can you help me to get a working backup of legend of dragoon? I am using cdrwin and followed the instructions to create an image cd (Using raw), downloaded the patch and apply the exe in the directory of my image file, then copy it to a cd-r. it still did not work. I have GAME ENHANCER. when i use my game enhancer to look at the cd; it only showed 1 large image file copied. Please help. i copied crono cross 2 just fine. it's odd

If it looks the same on pc you are using an illegally registered/patched version of cdrwin.
A bad key will give you only coasters.

hmmmm.....I follow the directions to register using the proper code. Any other software that can read bin files at 2x? Any other suggestions. Sorry if I sound stupid. I'll try it again at 1x.
