correct me if im wrong please.... cdrwin process!!!!!!

Are these the proper steps in applying a patch to a game if it is protected... correct me if im wrong please...

Step one: Start cdrwin (Click backup copy and do all yr settings etc.. then start)

Step two:start cdrwin (click Extract and do all yr setting etc.. then start)

Step three: start ppf-o-matic (enter yr files etc and do all yr settings etc.. then apply patch)

Step four: start cdrwin (click on Record disc and do all yr settings etc.. then record)

If these are the right steps of burning a game with a patch please let me know, much appreciated, thanks...
