Anyone else with WackyRacers have erratic sound bytes?

After doing a .CDI dump using CDMAGE, of a .CDI that my DJ-3 wouldn't burn correctly, I finally got it to a NON-Boot disc, but the announcer's voice files are really erratic. It repeats words, sometimes says something it shouldn't, or says a word or two out of place then the same words repeat in the correct place shortly after.

Does this sound familiar to anybody? Would dummying the disc help? Might it work better if I moved the priority of some of the files (if I can figure out which files are the voice files)? If I could get all of the voice files to the last few tracks of the disc, it might make a difference, right?

On a possibly similar subject, TestDrive 6 occasionally ends up with the road losing its solidity (things fall through the road into the sky??). Also, it's common to hit an invisible wall and all cars get stopped in the same place. Could this also be related to the need to dummy the disc?
