just a quick question? Do you use you lite-on to read and write with? If not what are you using as you reader,because most dvd readers that are in the latest systems do not read sub-channel which is needed to back-up psx and audio cds(cause they have sub-channel data(psx) and sub channel audio on the tracks that has to be read to copy properly.(the only one's i know of are toshiba and lite-on) Also the lite-on does not write any slower that 8x no matter what speed you set it at (i know cos i got one) so try turning your psx upside down (the laser may be getting weak) when you try playing the game.
