Creative CD-RW 1210E Could not perform End of Disc at Once with Nero 5.5.5.1

I own a Creative CD-RW 1210E CD-RW drive, recently I keep getting this msg of Invalid Write State and Could not perform End of Disc at Once when it reaches 100% of writing the CD.

Does this mean my drive is spoilt?

It could mean you have to upgrade you'r firmware.I dunno,but a friend of mine (norway) had to.Before we upgraded the creative was *very* "picky" and would not read or install games if they were used(just some tiny tiny skrables)Maby try to flash the cdrw bios.Also try setting the cdrw to master.One last thing:in a raid system the creative would have prob's sometimes reading new cd's!!!Why.. ?????
Anybody have a clue about that plz let me know
